Rettward von Doernberg is a formally trained composer, currently living and working in Berlin, Germany. His music has been featured on TV, radio, stage and in computer games. He studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) under acclaimed film composers and Academy Award winners such as James Newton Howard, Alan Silvestri and Hans Zimmer.

His most recent project for the cinema, the animated short “Manic Moondays” by Martin Schiffter, has been shown both on television and at film festivals around the world, where it has won several awards.
